FMO Ventures Program, an initiative of the Dutch Development Bank, aims to empower innovative business models applying disruptive technology to enable affordable access to goods and services to the un(der)served in emerging markets.

While the Program overall includes 52 African countries, this site focuses on interventions in Ghana, Morocco, and Tanzania within the overall program. Within the first cycle of activities with this regional focus, VC4A identified outstanding local ESOs per country: Impact Hub in Ghana, LaStartupStation in Morocco and Anza in Tanzania.

VC4A as the overarching ecosystem strengthening organization, with a broad reach within the startup ecosystems on the continent, worked with all three ESOs advising and supporting their acceleration programs, recruiting well-fitting startups and offering further benefits in terms of tools, services, reach, and visibility.
